Turgen Valley
First discovered by our team during heli-ski flight in Feb, 2017 the beginning of Karsh range in Turgen Valley is perfect for freeride and has it’s all! Tree skiing, nice touring terrain, no people, a lot of snow and even more! Slopes have seen only 4 descends and you could be the first to explore this backcountry paradise!

The yurt lodge based in the gorgeous and wild Turgen valley near Karash mountains! Endless slopes for advanced and intermediate skiers and snowboarders.
Season starts in late November and ends at the end of March on Nauryz holidays.

Modern infrastructure of Almaty region makes possible to combine yurt backcountry tours with resort freeride at Shymbulak and Ak-bulak and great accommodation options help save time on transfers.

Всем- привет! Хочу поделиться своими впечатлениями о ребятах из powder.kz/freeride.kz На снежной доске катаю 20 лет. Бывал во многих местах, в разных условиях и ситуациях. Стараюсь действовать по правилу “Хороший райдер- старый райдер”. В прошлом сезоне родилась идея открыть для себя Казахстан, как новую страну и регион катания. По традиции, задал вопрос местному другу, который вывел на ребят из freeride.kz Дальше-все шло так, как правильно должно идти: Виталий дал полную предварительную информацию по региону и вариантам исполнения наших желаний. Евгений и Игорь были не только объективными консультантами по многим вопросам, касающимся “колорита”, но и нашими Гидами в дневном туре на Скалы Три Брата и отдельном двухдневном бэккантри-приключении в Юрте. Профессионализм, ответственность, общение на одном языке дали мне и моему коллеге Саше возможность не только от души открыть новые горизонты и оставить свой “первый след”, но и вернуться домой невредимыми, с полными рюкзаками впечатлений! Ребята- настоящие профессионалы. Я уверен, что мы еще встретимся и более плотно пообщаемся по теме “Казахского бэккантри”, ибо, потенциал, практически, неисчерпаем! Еще раз-спасибо!
