Combined Three-in-One Program, designed for seven days. Two days at the Cosmostation, two days at the Bogdanovich Glacier (Talgar Pass), three days at the Tuyuk-Su Glacier.

  • Difficulty level: Intermediate, for confident skiers and snowboarders

Route: Almaty – Cosmostation – Almaty – Medeo – Shymbulak – Talgar Pass – Shymbulak – Tuyuk-Su Glacier


This combined 7-day program will take you to three of the most popular locations: Cosmostation, Bogdanovich Glacier, and Tuyuk-Su Glacier. You  will enjoy breathtaking gorges and glaciers, and a variety of descents that will impress even to the most experienced riders.

  • Departure from Almaty at 5:00 a.m.

    Transfer to the Cosmostation at an altitude of 3350 m.

    Please make sure you have your passport or ID with you, as we will be passing through a border zone with Kyrgyzstan,
    where you will need to show your documents. 

  • Accommodation in a mountain hut

    The hut has electricity, gas, dishes, and a warm stove

  • Skiing

    A ski tour (skitour) awaits you to the area of the western ridge of Tourist’s Peak, where we will explore the northern and northwestern slopes.

  • Climbing: 350-400 vertical meters

  • Slope steepness: 20-30 degrees

  • 1-3 descents

    Depending on the average skill level of the group

  • Recreational program

    Lunch, rest, and free time. You can book a tour of the Cosmostation, it’s an astronomical research complex build in Soviet Era.

    Dinner and overnight stay in the hut.

  • Wake up at 6:00 a.m. / Breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

    Equipment check and departure no later than 7:30 a.m.

  • Ski tour to Tourist Peak (3954 m)

    Panoramic views of peaks: Karnizny, Sovetov, Ozerny, and others. Return to hut for lunch.

  • Transfer to Talgar Pass

    Route: Almaty – Medeo – Talgar Pass. Travel time: 4–5 hours.

  • Accommodation in yurt

    Sleeping on heated floor, electricity, additional heaters.

  • Climbing: 700-750 vertical meters

  • Slope steepness: 20-30 degrees

  • Evening program

    Free time and walk around Talgar Pass. Dinner and overnight in the yurt.

  • Wake up at 6:00 a.m. / Breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

    Equipment check and departure for ski tour.

  • Ski tour to Til Glacier (3900 m)

    Return to the yurt for rest and free time.

  • Climbing: 750-850 vertical meters

  • Slope steepness: 20-30 degrees

  • Dinner and overnight in yurt

  • Wake up at 6:00 a.m. / Breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

    Equipment check and departure at 7:30 a.m.

  • Ski tour to Bogdanovich cirque

    Ascent to Komsmolsky Pass (4000 m), views of Karltau (4100 m) and possibly Talgar (5017 m).

  • Descent to yurt camp

    Rest, dinner and overnight.

  • Climbing: 900 vertical meters

  • Descent length: 6 km

  • Slope steepness: 20-30 degrees

  • Wake up at 6:00 a.m. / Breakfast at 6:30 a.m.

    Packing and descent to Shymbulak (2200 m).

  • Visit memorial for fallen mountaineers

  • Ski tour to Tuyuk-Su Glacier (3400 m)

    Via Tuyuk-Su gorge (2500 m) and Mynzhylki (3000 m).

  • Accommodation in base camp

    Wagon equipped for comfortable living at 3400 m. Rest and lunch.

  • Evening ski tour to ridge (3840 m)

    Multiple descent options and views of Molodyozhny, Ordzhonikidze, Amangeldy, Pioneer, Kum-Belsu gorge.

  • Climbing: 900 vertical meters

  • Distance: 6 km

  • Wake up at 6:00 a.m. / Breakfast

    Equipment check and departure for ski tour.

  • Ski tour to Tuyuk-Su Pass (4100 m)

    Panoramic views of SGU, Soviet Alpinists, Pogrebetskogo, Locomotive, and more.

  • Snack and short rest at top

  • Descent to base camp by 12:00 p.m.

    Rest, lunch, optional excursion to T-1 glaciological station.

  • Climbing: 720 vertical meters

  • Slope steepness: 20-30 degrees

  • Wake up at 6:00 a.m. / Equipment check

    Departure no later than 6:30–7:00 a.m.

  • Ski tour to Molodyozhny Pass (3800 m)

    Possible ascent to Molodyozhny Peak (4147 m) if avalanche conditions permit.

  • Return to camp for lunch

  • Final descent to Shymbulak

    Optional additional descent. Hike to lower station and transfer to Almaty.

  • Climbing: 400-750 vertical meters

  • Travel time: 3-6 hours
